LOAM in Rumšiškės has pleasure to invite craftsman, owners of wooden houses, students and professionals from Latvia and Lithuania to International Restoration Workshop 2019. Workshop will last for 5 days, August 26-30. Program will consist from practical restoration works of the wooden threshing barn and details, window and door, educational classes, and guided excursion round the museum. Practical works will be implemented at the premises of Lithuanian Open Air Museum in Rumšiškės, theoretical lectures will be held at the Research and training center of wooden architecture, Aristavėlės manor house. It is planned to implement wooden restoration works on the sets of old threshing barn construction, window and door of living house. Participants will work in mixed groups at the different objects. During the workshop are foreseen time for the professional discussions, exchange of knowledge and experience.
