Description: The Curonian Spit National Park is a protected area that covers the Lithuanian land part of the Curonian Spit together with the Curonian Lagoon and the Baltic Sea coast. The entire Curonian Spit is a 98 km long peninsula, the southern part of which belongs to the Russian Federation. The National Park in the Lithuanian part was established in 1991 m.
Idea: Development of sustainable tourism, organization of ecological activity processes, development of tourism, education of visitors to protected areas, preservation of cultural heritage. Staff training, promotion of cooperation with other regions.
