Description: Zarasai District Municipality Primary Health Care Centre is a provider of primary health care services also ambulance services. For a few years now ambulance is taking patients that need urgent aid to the qualified medical centres in Utena or Vilnius. Due to relatively long distances, accordingly 48 and 148 km, emergency aid services are insufficient. The role of partner is to ensure accessibility of quality medical services to the community of Zarasai District through cooperation with the regional centre of competence in providing quality medical services -Daugavpils Regional Hospital.
