Description: Priekule county is located in the south of the Kurzeme planning region and it borders with the Lithuanian districts Skuoda and Alexandria. It was created in 2009 and consists of Priekule city and five parishes - Priekule, Bunka, Virga, Gramzda and Kaleti. The total population of Priekule region according to the data of the Central Statistical Bureau at the beginning of 2017 is 5336 inhabitants.
