The tin jewelry workshop in Bauska Castle

October 1st and 8th, at 12:00 and 15:00 in Bauska Castle will be organized a tin jewelry making workshop, where participants will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the technique of making tin jewelry, gain a little insight into tin casting, and also try their hand at making own tin jewelry. The workshop is intended for anyone interested, without previous knowledge and experience

The workshop will be led by artists Linda Šikure-Važa and Māris Važa.

The workshop takes place within the framework of the project “Historic Road: Raudondvaris-Bauska” educational program “Baltic treasure”.The main goal of the project is to increase the number of visitors to Bauska Castle Museum and Raudondvaris Manor (Lithuania) during the off-season and winter months. In the winter and autumn months of 2022, 20 master classes will be held at the Bauska Castle: making a leather case, making plant crowns, calligraphy, sgraffito technique and making tin jewellery.
