Description: District consists of 13 parishes and Kuldiga town that is famous for the widest waterfall in Europe and well preserved Old Town. Kuldīga District Municipality strives to preserve and promote the unique architecture and local traditions by different activities - annual town festivals, restauration programs, funds for local initiatives and cross-border projects that support rural territories.

Idea: Kuldiga District Municipality wants to develop degraded rural territories into successful tourism destination that focus on promoting cultural heritage. The project would include improving infrastructure and developing the tourism package that is based on local traditions, crafts and lifestyle. Municipality is looking for a project partner that has potential for developing cultural heritage.
