During 2014 – 2020 planning period cross border cooperation between Latvian and Lithuanian border regions will be strengthened by implementing projects in four priorities: employment and labour mobility, sustainable and clean custom essay environment, social inclusion and efficient public services.
51 million euros (including technical assistance) have been allocated from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to Latvia – Lithuania cross border cooperation programme for supporting projects in Latvia (Latgale, Kurzeme and Zemgale) and Lithuania (Klaipeda, Telšiai, Šauliai, Utenas and Panavezys regions). The ERDF co-financing will cover up to 85% of total eligible costs of the projects.
The first call for proposals will be announced after respective Monitoring Committee’s decision. For more information on calls for proposals please follow information on our website.
