The Klaipeda Pedagogical Psychological Service (PPS) was founded in 1997; works for 20 years in assisting and supporting children having problems in educational process (especially special needs and emotional – behavioural problems) and their families as well as their teachers. Currently, the PPS staff consists of highly qualified team of psychologists (16), special pedagogue, social pedagogues (4), speech therapists (4), psychotherapist and neurologist. The PPS specialists regularly carry out investigations at schools, prepare and spread methodological material aiming at working with children having learning disabilities as well as conduct lectures and workshops for school psychologists, teachers, nurses, other learning assistance staff addressing various learning and behavioural problems. Most of the specialists have a good command in English and they will be happy to share their experience with the project partners in using their expertise in differently applied environment.
