On 28th of May, 2018 there was the kick-off meeting of the project „Ignalina and Daugavpils against poverty and social exclusion“, No LLI-322, where both partners met.

Project partners discussed about main tasks in project, project work plan and future cooperation plans. During the meeting project partners visited accomodation of Ignalina parrish that was planned to get restaured, redecorated and adapted to become youth center for children.

During the meeting both project partners participated:

• Navity of Blessed Virgin Mary parish in Ignalina (Lithuania);
• Daugavpils Heart of Jesus Roman Catholic Parish (Latvia);

The Interreg V-A Latvia – Lithuania Cross Border Cooperation Programme 2014-2020 aims to contribute to the sustainable and cohesive socio-economic development of the Ignalina and Daugavpils regions by helping to make them competitive and attractive for living, working and visiting.
