Hippotherapy training for Lithuania and Latvia specialists

In the frame  of the Project “Joint and interdisciplinary long life learning training for professionals working with neurosensorimotor disorders (Iterprof)” were organized hippotherapy training sessions for profesionals working with neurosensorimotor disorders from Latvia (2th March) and Lithuania (28th and 30th March). The training program aim was to expand knowledge and acquire skills about hippotherapy for specialists working with patients with neurosensorimotor disorders. The main focus was on principles application and evidence of effectiveness of hippotherapy in sensorimotor neurorehabilitation. Moreover, during the practical classes professionals were introduced with hippotherapy equipment and application possibilities in order to know how to apply hippotherapy for patients with neurosensorimotor disorders depending on the person’s needs.
