Occupational therapy for Lithuania and Latvia specialists

In the frame of the Project “Joint and interdisciplinary long-life learning training for professionals working with neurosensorimotor disorders (Interprof)” were organised occupational therapy training sessions for professionals working with neurosensorimotor disorders from Lithuania (13-14th September) and Latvia (28th September). The training program aim was to develop the professional competencies of specialists working in rehabilitation about problems in activities of daily living.  The focus was on neurological disorders in adults. The introductory information about problems in self-care, productivity, mobility, assistive devices and technology and environmental adaptations and how to improve patient’s ability to carry out activities of daily living was given in the course. The training module increased skills and expanded knowledge of specialists about the screening of problems in activities of daily living as well as basic principles of the occupational therapy in neurorehabilitation
