Joint Municipal Institution “Rēzekne Special Economic Zone Authority” has developed the concept for revitalisation of two land plots in Rezekne.

Within the framework of the project LLI-386 “Trans-form”, the project partner Joint Municipal Institution “Rēzekne Special Economic Zone Authority” (further- RSEZ) has been elaborated and designed the concept for revitalisation of particular sites in Rezekne city, Komunālā street 13 and Komunālā street 11C, their total area is 6.78 ha.

This concept is one of the planning documents and tools that as well other project partners are expected to develop during the project. The purpose of RSEZ’s newly developed concept is to carry out a study of a two-sites revitalization and relief organization on Kalnu Street for land development, construction, and installation of potential engineering infrastructure. This involves drawing up a site revitalization plan on the basis of a topographic map with the dismantling of existing sites, trees and shrub clean-up, and terrain organization at one or more levels.

Based on the developed concept, co-financed by the project LLI-386  “Trans-form”, RSEZ has also developed a technical project for construction works, as well as carried out the revitalization of these two territories afterwards, creating investor-organized areas for business development in Rezekne.
