Statistics of the 1st call for proposals

The 1st call for proposals of the Interreg V-A Latvia–Lithuania Programme 2014–2020 was closed on 5 August 2016. Altogether 158 project applications have been received aimed at various activities supported within four Programme priorities.


The total available funding for the projects to be selected during the calls for proposals is ~ EUR 42,6 million. There is a request for almost EUR 85,8 million from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) in order to co-finance projects’ activities in Latvian and Lithuanian border regions.
The breakdown of the submitted project applications per priorities and specific objectives is the following:

Submitted project applications include 586 project partners, out of which 303 partners are from Latvia and 283 partners are from Lithuania.

Decisions on the project selection will be made by the Programme Monitoring Committee.
