Taking into account that many projects have faced delays in implementation of the planned activities due to the delays related to the COVID-19 restrictions, and to ensure reaching of the planned project results at the highest quality, the Programme’s Monitoring Committee has approved amendments of the Programme Manuals (PM) for all three calls of the Programme (Programme Manual for the 1st Call for Proposals and Direct Award, 2nd Call for Proposals and 3rd Call for Proposals during the meeting of the Monitoring Committee on 22 October related to the duration of the projects.

To clearly reflect the possibility for ongoing projects in justified cases to extend initial project duration beyond 24 months period, new sentence has been added in the Section 5.3. of the PMs of all three calls: “The maximum project duration is 24 months. Duration may be prolonged in exceptional and justified cases”.

The projects approved under the 3^rd call for the Proposals of the programme should be aware that the latest date of the duration for these projects has been extended till 30 June 2023 (Programme Manual for the 3rd Call for Proposals, section 7.2.2 Major project changes, table 8).

In addition, the maximum project duration of the project approved under direct award maximum project duration has been extended to 48 months and new implementation deadline is set on 31 December 2021 (the Programme Manual for the 1st Call for Proposals and Direct Award).
