Programme Communication Guidelines updated

29 January 2018

Facing reoccurring practical questions that had risen upon implementing projects, the Joint Secretariat had amended some of the requirements in Communication Guidelines, so that the requirements and recommendations of the Programme for the publicity of the Projects would be more clear and easy to understand. From now on Version 3 of the Guidelines is applicable to all ongoing projects of the Programme.

We would like to pay attention to these changes in the Guidelines:

  1. In all locations of project investments (for example public spaces, buildings, equipped premises), projects must put a permanent billboard or plaque which, containing general, no project specific information shall be provided by the Joint Secretariat free of charge on request of the project. Nevertheless, the projects are recommended to develop project specific plaques or billboards.
  2. The requirements for the use of the Programme’s logo have been clarified and softened. Now it is clearly set-up, that the size of the Programme logo must be such that it is possible to read text in the Programme logo, and given minimum size of the Programme’s logo (60 mm for full version of the logo and 47 mm for minimised version) is a recommendation of the Programme. Also, recommendations to avoid using inverted Programme’s logo, and use of the logo on a coloured background have been softened.
  3. A new section with detailed description of the information to be included in the project section of the www.latlit.eu website have been included in the Guidelines.
  4. The recommendation that information about the project on the project partners’ websites is easy to find with no more than 2-3 clicks from the main page of the website of the project partner have been added.
  5. The instructions on the management of the project section of the Programme’s website were amended with section on the Interactive Project Map, and some other new information.

Also, the Guidelines were amended with an information how to request the Programme’s stickers and plaques from the Joint Secretariat, some other editorial and technical changed have been done.

Updated Communication Guidelines can be downloaded here. For the convenience of the users updated parts are marked in yellow. We encourage project partners of on-going projects to check if they are following the latest version of the Guidelines – Version 3, as of January 2018.
