Public Institution Utena Business Information Centre started its activity on September 22, 2004.
The Centre was founded by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Lithuania and Utena Regional Municipality. The Centre’s main objectives are: to help newly established business subjects to settle, develop activities of already existing businesses, help them to adapt to changing market conditions, increase competitiveness and operational efficiency, help establish international cooperation contacts with businessmen from other countries. The Centre provides information, consultation and training services as well as practical assistance to small and medium business operators in Utena Region Municipality. The Centre receives about 3,000 visitors every year.
