Balvi municipality

Description: Balvi municipality is located in the north-east of Latvia and is the gate between Latgale and Vidzeme region. The district includes Balvi city and 10 parishes covering 1044.5 km2 with population 12 000. The unique image of it is created by its rivers and lakes. Municipality has experience implementing projects financed by EU Structural funds (ERDF, ESF), cross border cooperation programs.
