With the unexpected global intermission of socialising, as well as economic operations and public events, caused by COVID-19 restrictions, also the “CCI & Sustainability” project is facing challenges, resulting in the necessity to prolong the project’s end date.

Two of the project’s partners – Kuldīga County Municipality (LP) and the Centre of Competency Based Professional Education Liepaja Music, Art and Design Secondary School (PP5) – are facing the risk to deviate from the project’s work-plan regarding equipment procurement procedures. Though preparation of documentation for the needs of procurement procedures is in process for both partners, and in the case of PP5 – procurement has been already partly implemented, prolongation of project’s completion date was still required, considering unpredictability of international shipments of equipment items.

The other reason to extend the project’s deadline is related to restriction of socialising: the last of 8 project’s educational activities was not implemented in May 2020, as previously planned, and is now intended for imlementation in Autumn 2020.

As a result of the above-mentioned facts, “CCI & Sustainability” end date was prolonged to March 31, 2021.
