Representatives from Siauliai City Municipality Administration,together with a representative from Siauliai Chief Police Commissariat participated in the conference “Challenges Encountered Improving Municipality Civil Protection System”, which was held on 12^th September in Jelgava, Latvia. The conference was organised within boundaries of the international project “Improvement of Civil Protection System in Siauliai and Jelgava Cities” (C-System, LLI-194). The organisers – Jelgava Municipality Operative Information Centre – together with participants from other Latvian municipalities introduced various project activities, shared experiences. Challenges of information exchange between different organisations within a context of the new personal data protection regulation were discussed, different experiences linked with organisation and implementation of activities at Municipality Operative Information Centre were shared, other relevant issues were discussed.
