Contracts signed on implementation of all 41 first call projects

03 August 2017

The Programme is glad to announce that after completion of the clarification process the Managing Authority of the Programme has signed a contract with Rēzekne Academy of Technologies on the implementation of project LLI-184 “SalesLabs” thereby successfully completing contract signing process with 41 lead partners of the projects approved during the first call for proposals. Total ERDF funding contracted for these projects is 20,2 million EUR, projects cover all four priorities of the Programme. Most of the projects have already started their activities in March–May 2017.

The project “SalesLabs” by introducing new Problem-based learning (PBL) method into training of potential employees will aim to reduce mismatch between skills of potential employees and needs of the labour market in Latgale and Šiauliai regions. Both project partners – Rēzekne Academy of Technologies and Northern Lithuania College – will equip two “SalesLabs” with measures needed for the practical trainings. The upgraded courses will apply innovative approach: as a part of practical training teachers together with students will provide services for companies of cross-border region in solving their real-life problems.

The Programme wishes great results to all projects and is looking forward to hear success stories from the projects in the near future.
