For implementation of project educational activities and remote observation of wetlands’ biodiversity contemporary equipment is purchased in Daugavpils and Anyksciai.

In Latgale Zoodarzs in Daugavpils binoculars, telescopes and hydroscopes, but in  Anykščiai Antanas Vienuolis Progymnasium binocular and hydroscopes will be available for public use for general public.

Besides, educational activities also remote observation of urban wetlands’ in Daugavpils and Anyksciai will be insured and  awareness or preserving the biodiversity of urban wetlands will be raised in cross-border region Latvia- Lithuania.

Hydroscopes will give unique opportunity to observe species leaning under water, with the means of binoculars and telescopes will be possible to survey rare birds and other interesting species of urban wetlands.

 

Total ERDF project funding 319 719,36 EUR.
