Cleaning event in Širvėna lake

Cleaning event is organised on April 28 in Biržai Regional Park Širvėna lake shores and islands for picking up the garbage from the lake. Event is organised in the project LLI-449 “Improving Governance and Management of Lakes in Kurzeme and North Lithuania” (LIVE LAKE).

Meeting places:

1. Rinkuškiai community (Rinkuškių k. Rinkuškių g. 18)
2. Lietuvos Medžiotojų ir Žvejų Draugijos Biržų Skyrius (Žvejų g. 2A, Biržai)

Programme: 

13:00 Registration and allocation of territories. Short introduction of Širvėna lake.

13:30 Collecting trash in the shores and islands of Širvėna lake.

16:30 Gathering in the meeting place (Rinkuškių k. Rinkuškių g. 18), gratitude to participants (snacks, water, coffee, tea).

17:00 Transportation of garbage to waste collection site (responsible – organizer).
