The international training “Nature aspects in landscape and green infrastructure planning” will be held on November 14-15, 2018 in Biržai, Lithuania in the frame of the project “Enhancement of Green Infrastructure in the Landscape of Lowland Rivers” (ENGRAVE, Nr. LLI-291), jointly organised by ENGRAVE project partners – Biržai Regional park and Baltic Environmental Forum-Latvia.
The aim of the training is to gain theoretical and practical knowledge on landscape and green infrastructure planning and management in the cross-border region. Experts from Biržai Regional park, Baltic Environmental Forum, University of Latvia and others will provide theoretical lectures on various planning aspects and site visit in Biržai town and surrounding to analyse the different cases on the bridging nature conservation interests, green infrastructure elements and landscape planning.
