Under the project LLI-24 (LitLatHV) Liepaja Marine College (Liepājas Jūrniecības koledža, LJK) has undertaken to organize Joint Pilot Training – course “Competence upgrading course for engineer officers (management level)” for a pilot group, which will take place in LJK in cooperation with the partner institutions through online connection. The pilot groups will be using the training equipment purchased within the framework of the project – the Technological simulator: ship model Diesel-Electric LNG Carrier.
Project Lead partner – Lithuanian Maritime Academy (LMA) and collaboration partners – Kaunas Technical College (KTC), Liepaja Marine College (LMC), Riga Technical University (Ventspils branch) (RTU VB), Ventspils Technical College (VTC) will participate in the training event.
The course-pilot training will be organized in order to assess and evaluate the effectiveness of use of new education and training facilities in combination with newly developed programmes and methodical materials, emphasizing the possibility of joint usage of locally installed different kinds of equipment in joint trainings.
