Study visit to Estonia

Study visit to Estonia is being organized within project “Development of Forest trail In Latvia and Lithuania and expanding the Baltic Coastal Hiking route in Lithuania” (LLI-448). Aim of the visit is to share experience of Estonian colleagues in developing long distance hiking trails. It is established contact with Estonian Ramblers association, which are member of European Ramblers Association. They are ready to share knowledge and provide best examples for long distance hiking trails development- marking, signposting, maintenance, route information practices.
The project team will document the experience in photos, will meet with the bodies responsible for maintenance and marketing of the hiking trail/-s. The study visit experience will be used in development of Forest trail in Latvia and Lithuania and Baltic Coastal Hiking route in Lithuania.
