On September 7, 2020, training was started at Ventspils Vocational College in the internationally recognized educational programme BTEC “Work Skills”. The total volume of the “Work skills” programme is 180h and it consists of 6 modules:
1) Maximizing Potential when Applying for a Job (30h)
2) Strategies to Improve Job Interview Skills (30h)
3) Preparing for Work Placement (30h)
4) Presentations for Work (30h)
5) Project Management Skills (30h)
6) Skills for Starting a Business (30h)

A total of 29 students started training in two separate groups and it is planned that the 3rd group (31 students) will start studies on October 1, 2020

At the end of the programme, students will receive a vocational education certificate, which is recognized in more than 70 countries all over the world.
