The Programme is pleased to announce its third call for the project proposals. The third call for proposals is open for three Programme priorities: 

• Sustainable and clean environment through cooperation,  
• Social inclusion as a precondition to territorial development,  
• Improved quality of living through efficient public services and administration.   

The deadline for the submission of the project proposals to the Programme is 12:00 AM (EEST) of 9 July, 2019. The third call is open from 9 April, 2019. 

The total Programme co-financing available from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) for this call amounts to 19,2 million euros. The eligible project activities are co-financed at the rate of 85 %. Project applications can be submitted to the following specific objectives of the programme:

1.1	To increase number of visitors to the Programme area through improving and developing cultural and natural heritage objects, services and products	5,5	800 000

3.1.	To improve accessibility and efficiency of social services	3,0	600 000

4.1	To improve efficiency of public services by strengthening capacities and cooperation between institutions	5,7	500 000

*Please note that the available ERDF funding per specific objective is indicative and can be changed. 

National, regional and local public authorities, public equivalent bodies, and NGOs can apply for the Programme in cross border partnerships. The eligible programme territories are Klaipėda, Telšiai, Šiauliai, Penevėžys, Utena and Kaunas counties in Lithuania, and Kurzeme, Zemgale, Latgale regions in Latvia.

Currently 90 Programmme’s 1st and 2nd call projects are being implemented with a total ERDF financing of more than 47 million euros.  

Information seminars for the potential applicants 

The Programme’s Joint Secretariat will invite potential applicants to attend information seminars where one will be able to receive all the necessary information related to the third call for project proposals as well as to participate in project development workshop. 

Each seminar will focus on particular specific objective of the Programme. Participants will be split in groups and will be facilitated through project development. All seminars will be held in English.
