Description: Vilani Local Municipality is located in the eastern part of Latvia named Latgale, founded 2009 from 3 districts (Viļāni, Sokolki, Dekšāres) and city Viļāni. The total area - 287 km², population – about 7000. Vilani Municipality has an experience in preparation and implementation of projects financed by Structural funds of EU (ERDF, ESF), as well as EU Cross border cooperation programs.
