Latgale Planning Region invites specialists from local municipalities of the region to participate at the regional practical conference “Innovative organization: focus on the quality of services. Who are our customers and what are their needs? Effective processes of change. Case studies of good practices.” Conference will take place on April 17-18, 2018 in Daugavpils. The main aim of the conference is to shape employees’ attitude to customer and public services, its quality. The conference will be a great tool of motivation for representatives of local municipalities and a possibility to get acquainted with LEAN methodology, to discuss its benefits and ways of implementation into daily routine. The conference will be conducted by John R. Adler – the founder of Telos Personnel Training in Austria.
We invite municipalities of Latgale Planning Region to delegate representatives to this conference. Deadline for applications is April 6, 2018. Applicants should send detailed information (name, surname, phone No. and e-mail) to e-mail: pasts@lpr.gov.lv. The number of participants is limited! Detailed information concerning transportation, accomodation and catering will be sent to approved participants after the application deadline.
In the framework of the project, municipalities located in the territory of Latgale Planning Region will be acquainted with LEAN methodology, its advantages and tools that can improve quality of customer-oriented service provision in local municipalities, organizing practical trainings, experience exchange visits to local municipalities of Latvia and Lithuania, international working groups in the fields of culture and tourism, individual and group coaching sessions until 30 April, 2019.
