The module will develop the professional competencies of specialists working in rehabilitation about neurogenic communication disorders. The course focus will be on acquired cognitive-linguistic disorders in adults. The introductory information about aphasia, cognitive-linguistic disorders associated with traumatic brain injury, the language of generalized intellectual impairment, and right hemisphere syndrome will be given in the course. The training module increases skills and expands knowledge of specialists about the screening of acquired cognitive-communicative disorders as well as basic principles of the speech and language rehabilitation.
