The seminar “Intergenerational conflicts, their causes, consequences, work with them, and prevention, possible prevention or how to avoid conflicts, is prevention possible at all” (first day) (project LLI-513)

This seminar is the third of planned 4 joint seminars for specialists working in social sphere from project partners from Lithuania and Latvia. The aim of the training is to improve the quality and competencies of specialists in order to ensure efficiency of social services. All joint training activities will be organized as 2-days seminars (16 participants, 8 from Lithuania and 8 from Latvia). Some of the trainings will be covering study visits to local social service providers in Šiauliai, Utena, Klaipėda, Telšiai regions, Vecumnieki, Uogre and other, and experience changes with Utena District Municipality who was one of partners in the project LLI-341 „Social Inclusion of Elderly People“ (Aging in Comfort).

Planned topics for joint seminars:

1. Psychological security. How to evaluate and create it? (Organized by Lead partner Pakruojis District Municipality Administration – LP).
2. Psychology of the Elderly. Attracting volunteers to the social work field (Organized by LP).
3. Strengthening emotional health. Positive communication – the way to success (Organized by project partner Bauska Municipality Government – PP2).
4. Intergenerational conflicts, their causes, consequences, work with them, and prevention, possible prevention or how to avoid conflicts, is prevention possible at all (Organized by PP2).
