Time: 12:00 am - 6:00 pm
Daugavpils, Latvia
The training includes instruction and practical training.
Certain skills are considered essential to the provision of first aid and are taught ubiquitously. Particularly the “ABC”s of first aid, which focus on critical life-saving intervention, must be rendered before treatment of less serious injuries. ABC stands for Airway, Breathing, and Circulation. During the training participants themselves have to practice chest compressions (and thus providing artificial circulation) and pulse checks, also Heimlich maneuver – procedure used to treat upper airway abstractions (or choking) by foreign objects.
Participants will receive a free first aid certificate once they attend the training.
