The creation and publicity of the algorithm
The objective of the algorithm is to create a consistent system to increase social inclusion by analysing the current social situation in the regions. It present steps that are enable to achieve greater involvement in the activities of society, reducing the fears, complexes of the community, as well as increasing their desire to be active, healthy and happy. The work methods, communication features, professional qualifications and experience of the professionals working with this social group is also emphasized. The developed algorithm is publicized to specialists working in the social, sports, youth, public health and cultural areas of Viesite and Rokiškis. There was 2 presentation events, 1 in Viesite, and 1 in Rokiškis. Each event was attended by more than 20 specialists. The algorithm was also be presented in the territory of the project program. 6 presentation events was planned in the following municipalities: Jaunvelgava, Ilukste, Sala, Biržai, Pasvalys, Panevėžys. Each event was attended by more than 20 people. Social inclusion algorithm will strengthen interinstitutional cooperation,transmission of knowledge.
The algorithmwas created by experts in English, Lithuanian and Latvian languages within external service – biedrība “Ūdenszīmes”. The algorithm is used in both partner institutions – by multi institutional cooperation coordinator who works in Rokiskis District municipality administration and is responsible to provide educational, social service and medical support for children and their families, in Viesite by staff of Social Service and involved work group between institutions established by the council. In both partner institutions algorithm is used by social workers, psychologists, social pedagogic staff, after-school activity service providers. Algorithm is published in websites www.rokiskis.lt and facebook for the society of Rokiskis, www.viesite.lv. After Project implementation period the coordinator, social workers together with social workers from Viesite will gather once per year in one partner institutions and discuss the updation of the algorithm.
An algorithm (a process or set of rules to be followed in calculations or other problem- solving operations) is expected as good guidelines and instrument in social inclusion process. Existing situation, needs, outside and inside factors, cause of problems, ways to solve problems taking into account interaction and chances in the situation. Approach that defines that a person is a protagonist /personality/ to choose the best and the most suitable way. Institutions/services have supportive role. Individual needs are taken into particular account. Social inclusion algorithm will strengthen interinstitutional cooperation, will be knowledge transmitted. A
The algorithm as a document is maintained by responsible specialists in both partner institutions, it is accepted by local decision makers and is a document of social inclusion.
On the 26th of May 2018 the final Kick-off meeting was held in Viesite municipality. The main aim of the meeting was to signing the Partnership agreement between The chairman of Viesite Municipality and Representative from Rokiškis District Municipality Administration. During meeting project partners was presenting their institutions, project team, activities in the project and expected results. Coordinator of LP and PP disussed about project implementation – establishment of project coordination, management and monitoring system. Also important question was risk management within the project – identifying the risks, creating prevention plan.
